This is a quilt that I am putting together with found floral fabric and new fabric that has a vintage feel to it. Just a fun project that I am experimenting with!

This is a baby quilt that I started a long time ago and finally finished! I had it all ready to quilt but didn't like the fabric on the back, and I tried to quilt it with the sewing machine. Big mistake! I took it apart, found fabric that I liked for the back and hand quilted it. I made the binding with a petty pink material, and had enough fabric left for a gift bag.
I decided it was time to redecorate & bedazzle my camper! It all started when I found the Tracy Porter duvet & pillow sham. I love the jewel colors, especially because they can be mixed & matched. I made the window treatments behind the bed with vintage lace & a peacock shawl. I hung another vintage shawl above the side of the bed. I found the velvet Bella Notte throw at an antique store. I love all the different textures on the bed! I left the cabinets the same for now. I kept the same cushions that I recovered when I first got the camper, but added throws & pillows to jazz them up a bit. I hung vintage linens on all the side windows and added new blue curtains to the front windows. I have a crochet tablecloth on the table, sari placemats & floral plates that I had. Last, I found a cute boho rug and I'm done for now. I am ordering tin tiles for the ceiling, and I am going to re-paint the outside of my camper when it gets warm. |
