This was one of those happy days! I found this pretty Grandmother's Garden quilt for $10.00! Yes, I was smiling from ear to ear! The lady behind me said she almost bought it, and the lady in front of me said she almost bought it too. I politely told them that I was very happy to find it, and it made my day! When I got home I washed it and put it with the pillow sham that I recently completed, and they are perfect together. Lucky me!

This fun little clothespin bag was made with an old feed sack, a vintage tea towel and a vintage hanger.
I was on my way to see my dad and I made a quick stop at a tag sale and look what I found! I think chenille is so pretty. I love the design on this bedspread and it is in really good shape. I washed and dried it and it's ready to go!
Nature is not a place to visit. It Is Home. by Gary Snyder
Loving nature right in my backyard! Feeling blessed! As most of you know, I love boxes. Big or small, it really doesn't matter. I had a free day today with no commitments. My mister is camping and I decided to tackle my list of unfinished projects. I got out my little wood boxes, some linen, buttons, pins and misc. and started in. I finished 3 little boxes. Then I finished up a bigger box with some paint and decoupage. It felt so good to get these done! I still have all afternoon to play! I'll let you know what I accomplished tomorrow! Happy Weekend!!
I made some powder puffs and put them in my Etsy shop. They sold so I made some more. I used puffs, antique lace, little pearls, tiny glass beads & silk ribbon. Sew vintage!
