At the end of the month I will have a space in a gallery for my vintage and handmade items. I am really excited and I will write a post about it as soon as I have photos to share. I just finished repurposing this cabinet for display. I painted it, decoupaged parts of it and, and waxed it. I can put items in the drawers and change out the vintage clothing to keep it fresh. I can't wait to see how my new adventure goes!!

I made this clothespin bag out of vintage linen. When I finished it, I wasn't too excited about it, and decided to embellish it with a little dress I made years ago after I saw one in a magazine. It's not practical for outside, but it would look cute in a laundry room!
I made this pocket sewing kit out of a piece of antique quilt my sister gave me. I am fascinated with the antique soldier's "housewife" kits that were made in the middle of the 18th century.
This is one of those days when I just started pulling out materials and let my creativity take over. As you know, I love buttons! I decided to make a couple of buttons cards, and that turned into making a large card that can be mailed or given as a gift. Then I started adding collaged materials onto an envelope. These are a few of the projects I created.
