I have always admired vintage powder puffs that people have embellished and fancied up. I found some old powder puffs at an antique store and I bought them so I could do just that. I found a picture on Pinterest and used it as an example to make mine. The hardest part was embroidering the facial features because the thread got lost in the puff sometimes. This was my second attempt in making a powder puff. It's actually more oval than the first one, and instead of embroidering the face, I drew and colored it on a small piece of canvas, and then stitched it to the powder puff. Now I just need to find a pretty vintage flower to put on the lace cap.
