In the meantime, I thought I would share pictures of our recent flood! We had about 4.5 inches of rain in about an hour. It did a great deal of damage around town, and we had to dig our way out to get across our wash. It's a good thing we live up high, and we felt very lucky that the damage was at the bottom of our property.
Can you believe it, we start back to school in 10 days! I have been trying to get my room set up and my lesson plans ready. I am excited because I have been taking a Digital Tools Course online, and I hope to have a art blog for my classroom this year. Yes, it's one more thing to do, but I can display student work and hopefully learn great new ideas that will inspire my students. This class is keeping me busy, but I will try very hard to get some posts completed for this blog as well. In the meantime, I thought I would share pictures of our recent flood! Lastly, here are a few pictures from our trip to Denver. We had so much fun. We went to the Rockies game and they won! We had food and drink at the Yard House. We also went to the zoo. It was amazing, and we could get so close to the animals. Mike planned this entire trip and it was perfect!!
