When my husband and I got back from vacation this weekend, there was a message on the telephone that I was invited to sale at a private home. Of course I went over the very next day. Everything was laid out on tables and most everything was priced. The really good thing was that the people were willing to bicker about prices. Actually, they encouraged it. Game on! Here is some of the stuff I bought.
This is so funny.... I really didn't need 13 vintage meat grinders, but the man told me he would throw in all of them for the same price as one! They are all different models and would look so neat displayed.
I LOVE old feed sacks! There is one big enough to use as a table cloth.
I thought the little brown hutch top would be perfect to display items at a vintage sale! It would also be adorable hung on a wall.
I am going to do an entire blog post about this trunk when I finish fixing it up. I almost missed this when I was looking around, and the man pulled it out and opened it up because he knew I would like it once I saw the inside.
There are a few more very unique items that I found, but I'll save them for another day!
I'm an art teacher and junk lover! I like to hunt for and repurpose treasures from flea markets, old barns, yard sales and funky shops.
