I bought these theater seats in March. They are heavy and they take up a lot of room. I had them outside while I painted them and then rolled them into my laundry room to store until I finished working on them. My mister told me many times that he would pay me to throw them away. I just couldn't do it! I kept trying to figure out what color I wanted to reupholster them and how to go about doing it. Well, my husband went hunting this weekend so I thought it was the perfect time to pull them out and get them done. I purchased a velvet green material to recover them. I got the backs off and was able to complete the back sides on Friday night. I had no idea how to take the bottoms off to reupholster them and so I left them alone until Sunday. Well, the job needed to get done, so I got back to work Sunday. This was not easy! I had to hand stitch almost all of the seat bottoms. Where there's a will, there's a way! All I have to do now it take the funky carpet off the bottoms when I get ready to sell them.
